In my blog on the
music of Hindi films released in the 1950s, I have already written a post on a
track from Aan, which released in 1952.
The subject of this post is slightly longer than that song – a couple of minutes and 55 seconds long, to be precise.
Although the first five words of its opening line went, “Dil Mein Chhupake Pyar Ka”, the fans of Mohammed Rafi, who sang it, made no secret of their admiration for the legend.
The track, which was penned by Shakeel Badayuni, was composed by Naushad Ali.
