My blog on the
music of Hindi films released between 1950 and 1959 contains a post about a
song from Azaad, which released in 1955.
I hadn’t heard the subject of this post – Radha Naa Bole Naa Bole Re – till recently, and when I did, I realised that a line of this track, which was penned by Rajinder Krishan and composed by C Ramchandra, went, “Ghoonghat Ke Pat Na Khole Re” (with which I, incidentally, started this blog).
As was the case with the other tracks in the film, Lata Mangeshkar rendered this song too.
